An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names.

Italian band Black Therapy was completely unknown to me, and once again, I discover a gem, this is really what BC is all about for me. Interesting blackened melodic DM, with appealing lyrics too, e.g. in the title track: “Follow your heart, follow your dreams / Never give up and forever be free.” At least musically I abide by this :)) It gets very melodic (too much?) at times, but at least it's versatile and varied, loved "Together" the best.

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!!
